Cuppacakes in DU

Past few weeks have not been merciful. But a cuppa always cheer me up!

All these were taken from http://www.ilovecuppacakes.com/.
They are actually in Damansara! Wau... can't wait to go to this cafe when I am back the next round.
I want all the purple cuppas!

Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Georgetown

History preserved at its best! Winner 'Most Excellent Project' UNESCO Conservation Award 2000. I wanted to visit it when I had a chance to drop in Georgetown. Indeed, it was worthwhile. The guide gave a hour detailed explanation of the mansion. A lady with passion for her work.

These wear the beca once used in a movie.

Since photography is prohibited within the mansion, I can only take some outside.

Ticket is only RM12 per adult. It comes with a nice bookmark.

Shops opposite the mansion were once houses for Cheong Fatt Tze's concubines and least favoured wives. He had 7 wives...
Jealous?

A bear, a lion and a pig meet.

Bear says: "if I roar in the forest, the entire forest is shivering with fear.

"Lion says: "if I roar in the jungle, the entire jungle is afraid of me.

"Pig says: "big deal.... I only have to cough, and the entire planet lives in fear."

St. George Church in Penang

Penang still sits on my top 3 destination of local holiday spot. This island is where great food, beautiful historical buildings and sandy beach are found in one place.

St George Church, the oldest church building is wonderfully preserved until I cannot go in to see. Still under some restoration...

I really like this orb or something... It is dedicated to Francis Light in 1818.

The building behind me is the High Court. All buildings were restored by government or individuals.
It was drizzling when I step into the church compound. Nevertheless, I marveled at the works of the early days folks and there was a sense of peace and God's inspired creation is beautiful.
